SOUND DESIGN

Samantha developed a very deep passion and appreciation for Sound Design after designing her first show Proof by David Auburn. Since then, she has tackled sound in many different aspects including design, engineering, and supervising. She served as a mentor for peers learning the process of Sound Design in her undergrad department.

She has worked with sound for shows such as Peter Pan: or the boy who wouldn’t grow up by J.M. Barrie, The Seagull by Anton Chekhov, The Language Archive by Julia Cho, Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, Oliver! The Musical by Lionel Bart, Chicago by Bob Fosse and Fred Ebb, and Dance Concerts at The University of Memphis.

In the fall of 2026, Samantha will be sound designing Clown Bar by Adam Szymkowicz directed by MFA candidate Klair Soukup.

She has special interest in Foley work, soundscapes, and live mixing.
